“This Poem Will Die Too”

I can’t regret what I forgot
Tin foil hats, said to make believe
Be grateful I guess, the spark is grey
Colliding friends into a sun
A play and theatre, loss is mine forever
Baby crows retrieve their fallen feathers
Gradually sadder
I’ve found what I felt
Long ago, before the snow
Inside a belt, dark and inevitable
A resilient kid is short of clever
A speed bump won’t help me learn
Hearts hurt together in a young chest
Despite the scars in your arms
I understand, I will never understand
Two teardrops are close to one
My existence, no will or presence
A hedonic smile, enough to be wrong
Your secrets are my garden
