Three Wise Women
A conversation about marriage.
Three wise women were sitting under a tree,
when Gertrude said to the two others, “Henry asked to marry me.”
Emily gasped in awe, followed by glee,
while Havilland muttered under her breath, “Utter stupidity.”
“We all deserve happiness,” Gertrude said in jest,
while Havilland replied, “I won’t settle for less.”
