When Words Are Not Enough

If only I had a lexicon so long,
that could find the words to adequately explain
what I need from you;
— how you can play in the clay, making my desires birth desires
once more.
Those places undersubscribed,
the sensual not the sexual — one is dimes a dozen, other’s not.

An engagement of the senses, all six —
lighting fires, burning sounds and smells, Taking me to places through tastes and tongues.

Exploding into spiritual,
setting burning chakras ablaze,
lit in goddess energy,
alive for days. If only I could find the words,
to separate, help explicate,
the subtle nuances of the knowing, and
how to differentiate.

Words fail so I fail,
Lost forever in letters, tossing and tumbling in an emptiness
never full.
Crisp sheets, one retreat
Just the tip of the flame, you greet.

Search out
those that dig deeper,
slide smoother,
enrapture easier
— to the brim
and beyond,
cascading down into waterfalls of sated desires.
