Welcome, Fellow Travelers.
An Introduction
Welcome to The Presbyterian’s Journal. Many of you have observed our journey over the last year and a half — some much longer. It may be more apt to say that you’ve journeyed alongside us with petition and other warm contributions. With an ever-demanding schedule, I have decided to alter the format of our monthly, and what has become semi-monthly updates. As I continue the pursuit of a call to the ordained ministry, time has become a fleetingly-precious commodity. Rather than do away with the Hart’s at Grace newsletter, this blog will replace it by bringing together the things I already do in my profession, as well as enjoy in my spare time. While this change is long overdue, it should correct some of the separation we have felt toward one another.
From this site you will find more regular, albeit shorter, news and articles ranging from personal thoughts, exegesis, prayer requests, church or denominational news and the like. My own goal for the site is to evolve from a personal blog to a helpful journal of Presbyterian thought and theology, with a number of friendly contributors. A practical theological podcast is also forthcoming.
In the meantime I will continue to develop the format and dissemination of the journal, as well as research other potential hosting options. I only ask that you patiently bear with me throughout this new endeavor, a trait that has been manifestly present in each of you. There are no other friends I would rather journey alongside — may this journal add to our collective joy in the glory and fellowship of the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ.
Blessings,
Nicklaus A. Hart
