Dennis Rodman… An Introvert?

It may be hard to believe, but the former NBA star is a quiet person

Dennis Rodman is known as “The Worm.” He was a member of the Detroit Piston “Bad Boys” of the ’80s and the fabled Chicago Bulls of the ’90s.

In addition to his fiery competitiveness on the basketball court, he’s also known for his out-of-this-world fashion sense.

His hair color has been every shade on the visible spectrum. He inked his body with numerous tattoos before it was socially acceptable in the NBA.

He’s dated Madonna and Carmen Electra and is good friends with rocker Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam.

Off the court, he is a notorious partier. Most notably, he went on a 48-hour Las Vegas bender in the middle of the 1998 NBA Finals in which Michael Jordan had to personally drag him out of his hotel room and back to practice.

All that said, Dennis Rodman is an introvert.

Alex English, an NBA Hall of Famer who had a prolific basketball career in the ’80s, once said:

“I wish people knew the real Dennis Rodman. One of the nicest guys and would give anyone the shirt off of his back. A true introvert.”

Former Bulls teammate, Jud Buechler, had a similar experience. Buechler stated:
