Newcastle humbled Tottenham Hotspur after a 4–0 win over Ange boys at Saint James Park.

Isak Scores 17th Goal of the season

The North Londoners looked confused with their approach to the game. Tactics weren’t working which didn’t help. They lived through a nightmare of performance over the 90Minutes mark.

Tottenham’s last biggest defeat happened against Newcastle 12 Months Ago, Ange said he has not watched that game again over that period.

Tottenham had chances. Not once in the first half with Timo Werner missing two close chances. It was Newcastle’s Anthony Gordon and Alexandra Isak who showed they wanted it much more upfront.

The efforts of Newcastle couldn’t be much better when Midfielder Bruno Guimaraes placed the ball into the air changing the game from defence to attack.

It resulted in a counterattack where Destiny Udogie could not hold back.

Anthony Gordon placed the ball into the feet of Alexandra Isak going further to sit Van Da Ven to the ground before blasting it to the bottom corner of the post, leaving Vicario Lifeless.

Tottenham left spaces behind. If what they displayed was done on the training pitch, it’d still be a very bad one for them.

Anthony Gordon after pressing high enough, gave Van De Ven his sitting orders before scoring 95 Seconds later.

Son, James Maddison could not do much of their duties as the game was not in their favour. Tactically, Tottenham boys could not hold up with the pressing points and power of Eddie Howe’s boys, Tottenham’s Goalkeeper Vicario could not handle Gordon’s force which led him to put the ball up in the air aimlessly.

Eddie Howe after the first 45 minutes, would have ordered for the same style in the first- to “keep the intensity, keep the game”.

Fabian Shar’s thumping header into the top corner was only an ice to the top of their performance and it marked the full subject of Tottenham’s bad day at the office.

Although eaten by Injuries over the past weeks, Newcastle showed that they wanted the game much more, leading to them winning today.
