7. Ja Morant

Does Ja Morant become the face of the NBA with a title? That would be an absolute for me, but he’ll become the best athletic guard we would have ever seen at worst. He would’ve been a better D-Rose even though Rose got an MVP in year three. Morant would also eclipse Wall and even Westbrook.

6. Jayson Tatum

If the Boston Celtics win or make the finals, he would be a confirmed superstar. Tatum has put up some outstanding numbers these past two years, but he hasn’t had the same outcomes in the postseason. It would be quite fulfilling if Tatum leads this team to the Finals, and Danny Ainge’s strategy would be redeemed. If he wins the title, you can book that he is the best Celtic since KG.

5. Nikola Jokic

Jokic had to be here because he would be the best player alive if he wins a title. He will possibly have back-to-back MVPs and be leading one of the worst playoff supporting casts. Jokic would also be one of the top five international players ever already at that point.

4. Jimmy Butler

If Jimmy Butler wins a title, he will be a certified superstar and Hall of Famer. All of his departures will be redeemed, and he’s one of the top ten best Heat players. Butler would also get a whole lot of business at “Big Face” coffee.

3. Kevin Durant

Durant joined the most talented team in the history of this league, but it was the most hated NBA move since Lebron’s “Decision.” If he were to win an NBA title, he would’ve done it by being the main piece. He would also be the undisputed best player on the planet, which he’s never been in his career.

2. James Harden

Harden’s playoff demons haven’t escaped people’s memories regardless of his displayed greatness during the regular season. If he were to win a title, the way departed from Houston and Brooklyn would disappear. Being able to win a title as a significant contributor, he’ll be remembered as one of the five best shooting guards ever.

1. Chris Paul

Chris Paul is a certified Hall of Famer; however, he is missing one thing from his resume. This one blemish on his resume has haunted him for a decade, and most NBA fans hold this against him. If he wins, he would be a top three-point guard of all time. There would be Steph, Magic, CP3, and Isiah would move down my list.

Simple and sweet right! These players all have something to play for this post season. Now let’s sit back and enjoy the moments.
