I’m always being inspired.

Kanye West. (And we don’t care what people say) (stack your money ’til it get sky high) (If my mangager insults me again, I will be assaulting him)
Langston Hughes. (Bare) (And life for me ain’t been no crystal stair)
Jennifer Lawrence. (Excelsior!)
Maya Angelou. (the caged bird sings with a fearful tril of things unknown) Aime Cesaire. (Martinique) (Martinique) (Martinique)
Fredrick Douglas. (As I write this, a tear rolls down my warm cheek)

These are the people who inspire me daily. They’ve help me create my world with their beautiful words. They are innovators, motivators and creators whom have given their life to become their own individuals. Neither person on my list can ever be re-created or duplicated. It’s people like them that make the world possible to live in.

Kanye West — The College Dropout & Graduation

Langston Hughes — The Ways of White Folk & Mother to Son

Jennifer Lawrence — Silver Linings Playbook & She’s a white woman.

Aime Cesaire — Negritude Poet & Notebook On Return to My Native Land

Maya Angelou — I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings & She’s a Black woman.

Fredrick Douglas — My Narrative My Life & Former Slave.
