Ben believes that a PM’s job is “not to set product strategy. It’s not to set the goals.” It’s not to tell people what to do. It’s not to be the boss.

The PM’s job is to help the team do all these things. The PM is a facilitator. PMs work with their team to organize everyone’s thoughts. “They bring a conversation to a head and help the team make a decision.” In this way, PMs help their team move fast and focus on what’s most important for their product. “They feed the team’s momentum” and help everyone get more done.
