AI Content Detectors Are a Complete Waste of Time
But pretty soon, it won’t even matter
With the development of AI writing tools such as ChatGPT and Notion AI, some website owners and publication editors are worried about writers passing off AI-generated content as their own writing. This has led them to use AI detection tools. The problem is that as AI text generation becomes better, these AI detection apps are becoming less reliable.
Recently, I have been testing a couple of these AI detection tools, and the results are unreliable. Sometimes, they say my human-written text was written by AI. Other times, they say that AI-written text was written by a human.

AI is getting better all the time, and humans can still write terrible content. So whether it’s 100% human-written should not be your number one concern. When publishing text, your only concerns should be:
- Is it factually accurate?
- Is it helpful or informative?
- Is it easy to read?
That’s it. That’s all you need to care about because that’s all your readers will…
