Bugs, Bugs, and Bugs
And More Bugs…
Oh, you fucking little bugs
You stupid little nugs
I really hate you flying around
Unceasingly buzzing with a hideous sound
On our hike, you buzzed mercilessly
And I swatted never could I see
You were unrelenting, never to stop
Until I came hard with a strong pop
I don’t think I ever really knew
What could ever be so strewed
Until I walked down among the trees
Then you cunningly came with the breeze
We went journeying through
Through the rivers and trees covered with dew
Then with a sudden jerk of the head
I saw the swarm of gnats and stopped dead
But creepily they came back with force
All surrounding us in our remorse
Flooding us with their filth
Never stopping in their dirty tilth
The river trail we did take
As we saw the beauty as the sun did bake
And the beauty took our breath away
But then you came up behind, always to stay
