Skip to the takeaway at the end. That’s where the arguments are.
Clickbait Is Only Getting Worse
I’m making a point
“TONYYYYYY — Stay with me!! You can’t enter the Partner Dungeon — it’s paywalled!!”
“But I’m worthy, Buster! I’m WORTHY.”
“You don’t even have the Friend of the Coach’s Shield, Tony.”
“I don’t care. I’m going in.”
Tony’s mind was at peace as he ran through the teleportal. With his infinity backpack filled with horse stall mats, he knew he would be safe.
This first paragraph had nothing to do with anything, but I’m willing to bet 95% of my readers are still there.
And to keep them for 25 more seconds, there are three things I can do:
#1 — Quote Donald Trump
“What separates the winners from the losers is how a person reacts to each new twist of fate.”
Winners on social media are the writers who can keep their readers for 30 seconds or more. Losers can’t.
The question isn’t if you’re a loser or a winner because we are all both. The question is, what will you do when you lose?
