What? I haven’t even had coffee yet. The house is just beginning to warm up, and I’m prompted to take off one of my warm slippers and use it to measure the distance from my wrist to my elbow. How did daVinci know it would be the same length?

Size eleven was, of course, the gold standard. Tallish, rugged men with clomping great feet stomping their way through life like sturdy Clydesdales.

Growing up in San Diego, I’ve been to Sea World many times. It was at its best when it was a small park before Anheuser Busch bought it in 1989. Cute commercials, lousy beer.
