What Month is it? By the author with AI.

The passage of time tends to get tied in a knot around this time of year.

As Alex Praytor’s article points out, it’s the weird time of year, where for a short period of time, the most pressing question on the tip of my frontal lobe is “What day is it?” This is, of course, my excuse for calendaric dysmorphia and not having brought this together for Christmas time.

Like all false prophets (people) and false profits (Medium earnings), when no excuse seems sufficient, the next best option is to resort to some sort of semantic debate. Does Christmas and Christmas Time denote the same period of time?

Well, of course, they don’t and this is my legitimate response to Aaliyah Humphrey’s Christmas song challenge which begins with the dubious selection of George Harrison’s Ding Dong.

You may think I’ve chosen this song so I can use the word dubious in a suitable context. You are correct. But what is the source of this dubiousity?

While George Harrison’s Ding Dong might be a “Christmas Time” song, it is not a Christmas song. I’m not sure where I’m going with this so I’m going to recentre myself into a grounded, mindful state by remembering there are RULES:

1. Pour yourself your favourite seasonal drink.
