Every Book I Did Not Read in 2024, With Commentary
I started keeping track of my life in 2000. I had never fallen for the “new year, new me” trend, but “new millennium, new me” felt adequate.
I use a journal and a habit tracker. Everything is stored online. It’s unlisted from the search engines and password-protected because I’m doing it for me. It spans over two decades now. How crazy is that?
If you had access to it, you’d realize I’m a natural-born contradictorian. I follow my mood, physical activity, and shows I watched, but, and that’s more unusual, I keep track of things I didn’t do.
It makes me more confident in my choices and feel I have stronger control of my life. It may be an illusion, but it works for me.
Here are the 13 books I did not read in 2024.
Passion Play, by Marsha Adams
A friend recommended it. He called the book “a remarkable piece of work, for which the description ‘erotica’ is nowhere near comprehensive enough. A very intellectual clever piece of writing, and one I’m happy to recommend.”
