A writer, trying to understand how he can make (more) money on Substack — Wiki Comms

You read my previous post on how to make money on Substack (in 2025), but you’re greedy and would like to earn more.

I see you. I’m the same.

In this article, I’ll reveal secret tactics usually reserved for my paid subscribers.

Why would I do that?

I’m trying to convince you to join my Top Hat Seminar for Winners only. If you had been part of it, you’d have learned these tactics months ago.

For this article, I will use Philip Ogley’s Substack as an example

Philip publishes weekly short fiction stories that he previously published on Medium. They are also available in a book. On Substack, he adds a short one-minute introductory video to each story.

21st Century Screen Grab

Strengths:

  • There’s a clear value proposition
  • There’s a 21st Century Brand Theme (21st Century Fiction, 21st Century Flicks, 21st Century Content Creator)
  • It’s repurposing content (write once, earn twice)
