When I first stumbled across Hudson Rennie’s YouTube channel, I was just another writer trying to figure out how to navigate Medium.
As someone who has been on Medium for two years, striving to stand out and make my voice heard, I knew something wasn’t clicking. The algorithm couldn’t just hate me for no reason — there had to be a method to the madness, and only those who seek it out diligently discover the secrets. Wishing for success wasn’t enough.
At first, I thought I had a decent grasp of the platform. But, deep down, I knew that hoping for a miracle wouldn’t get me far. Success on Medium, like everything worthwhile, requires hard work. So, I decided to turn to YouTube.
