Normally I solve problems through the art of incessant moaning but this month’s Deluded Custodians challenge gave me the idea of another way to solve my problems — through actual art.

April’s challenge comes from THE CREATIVITY DOCTOR via the estimable Ann James: Pick two random objects in your surroundings and consider how you might combine them to solve your problem.

What’s yer problem, Nic?

Money.

Sorry, it’s the most boring problem in the history of the universe and all the parallel universes.

Insert boring words: property maintenance, mortgage, rent, inflation, interest rates. Zzzzzzz!

And before you think a person who took a trip to LA shouldn’t be whining about money — Obama was still president when I went on that trip. I’m poorer and wrinklier now.
