Twelve Dead as Heavy Snow Wreaks Havoc in Japan

As much as 27cm of snow, almost the most in Tokyo for 45 years, has caused widespread damage and left twelve people dead.

18 Feared Dead in Nepalese Plane Crash

A Nepal Airlines flight travelling from Kathmandu to Jumla has crashed in forest in Arghakhachi District. All 18 passengers are presumed dead.

Train Derailed by Bomb in Pakistan, Eight Dead

Ethnic sepratist groups in southwest Pakistan are suspected to have placed a bomb which derailed a train near Kashmor, in the Sindh Province in southwest Pakistan.

Comcast to Acquire Time Warner Cable for $44.2b

Comcast is set to announce a deal which will see them acquire Time Warner Cable in an all-stock deal worth approximately $44.2 billion.
