On June 20, Augustana hosted over 2000 school children from the surrounding area, as well as the campus and Camrose community to celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day with dancers and drummers from Maskwacis, followed by an Indigenous art show titled Aakii isskska’takssin (woman — thought) at the Lougheed Performing Arts Centre. Aakii isskska’takssin will remain at the Lougheed Centre until July 17.
