She’s majestic

Some just can’t handle it

From the fullness of her lips

To her Womanly hips

From her well-defined arms

To a heart that’s warm

From her high cheek bones

To her African inherited nose

From her welcoming bosom

To fighting off racism

From her stellar achievements

To overcoming sexist grievance

From Brooklyn, New York

To Kyoto, Japan

From the inner cities

To cradling the highest office in the land

Some just can’t handle it

Yeah, she had to build herself up

To compete against the toughest man

She earned her way up

Smashing obstacles from the oppressor’s hand

Day in day out never giving up

Taking care of her own and this fair land where you stand

When she needed a miracle

She wasn’t afraid to look up

Fell down many times

But she brushed herself off and got back up

Rejected, ignored, annihilated

Yet she smiles and Never throw her hands up

So if she doesn’t look like your mom, she sure as heck looks like mine. Show some respect, keep your belittling comments to yourself, grow up

I’m proud of my strong 💪🏽 mom

She’s majestic
