You are my destiny, Oh God.
And I will keep Your Word.
I crave Your grace with all my heart;
Be merciful, Oh Lord!

The chains of cruel men have bound
My hands, my feet, my soul,
But I have not forgotten You,
And You will make me whole.

At midnight I give thanks to You,
At midday praise Your Name;
I turn my feet toward Your ways;
Your goodness I proclaim.

You are my destiny, Oh God.
And I will keep Your Word.
I crave Your grace with all my heart;
Be merciful, Oh Lord!

Although my enemies pursue
Diverse atrocity,
The earth is overflowing with
Your generosity.

Then, in the darkest, lowest place,
You set a wick alight
And send the shadows running scared.
Your love is sparkling bright.
