You spun the light of stars into gold thread,
And knit Your Word into the root, the bed
Of everything that is and yet could be.
You are good and all You do is good.

Although the arrogant smeared me with lies,
Your Word is in my heart, before my eyes,
And I delight in everything You say.
You are good and all You do is good.

Your lips are more precious to me than gold,
Than thousands stored in mines and caverns cold,
For You are good and all You do is good,
And You made me, and therefore I am good.

Esther learned to read when she was four years old, and began writing shortly thereafter. She is a queer Christian poet, crafting with words to create art and music.
