Psalm 14 — Where is God?

Image by RobertMWorsham at Wikimedia Commons

“Where is God?”
He sneers. He cons.
It’s all a fraud.

The masses awed
By signs and songs;
“Oh where is God?”

His bright facade
Is like the dawn,
But all a fraud.

And they applaud
For Babylon.
But where is God?

It’s all to rob
The faithful ones;
It’s all a fraud.

But he knows naught
When he enjoins,
“Where is God?”
He is a fraud.

Esther learned to read when she was four years old, and began writing shortly thereafter. She is a queer Christian poet, crafting with words to create art and music.
