Psalm 6 — Have Mercy on My Weakness
A Kyrielle Sonnet
Oh Lord, do not rebuke my heart
For I am weak and I am flawed.
Oh, stay with me; do not depart;
Have mercy on my weakness, God.
I am weary with my weeping
As through my grief I slog and plod
All the night instead of sleeping.
Have mercy on my weakness, God.
Depart from me, you reprobates
For God has heard my cry distraught.
In the morning, for me He waits;
Have mercy on my weakness, God.
Oh Lord, do not rebuke my heart;
Have mercy on my weakness, God.
