Day 1: Kicking off the 30 Day Smart Savings Challenge
Since it was Day 1 (and I had a presentation due for work) I kept today’s Smart Savings task basic. I tallied my credit card debt remaining and calculated the minimum balance to be paid that will help me avoid paying any finance charges when April’s bill rolls around.
While it’s optimal to keep your credit card debt zero, as long as you can smartly manage the debt, there is no harm in owing a few thousand. (More tips on credit card management later on in the challenge.) This amount will be paid tomorrow morning, bright and early, via online banking.
Curious about the rules for the 30 Day Smart Savings Challenge? That’s what I’ll be sharing with you in tomorrow’s post.
