His jokes were tired and pointless. Some corny. Others raunchy. I’d heard them a million times. But this wasn’t about me today.
“Dad, we need to make some decisions,” I finally said.
“Did I ever tell you the one…” He wasn’t listening.
I sat back. Sighed.
Maybe tomorrow, I thought.
