Sci-Tech High School Hosts Spring Fest Field Day
On May 3rd, Sci-Tech High School hosted its annual Spring Fest field day, offering students a variety of engaging activities and entertainment from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
The event kicked off with a free Blues Concert at 9:30 AM, featuring a talented blues band that performed classic songs and provided educational micro-lessons between sets. Students had the opportunity to learn about the history and style of blues music while enjoying live performances.
From 11:15 AM to 12:00 PM, students gathered in the school’s gymnasium for an assembly where they discovered the results of the yearbook superlatives. This segment of the event celebrated the unique personalities and achievements of the student body.
The main field day events took place from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, offering an array of activities for students to participate in. A karaoke music station allowed students to showcase their singing talents, while board game tables provided a space for friendly competition. For those seeking entertainment, a movie room and video game room were available. Students could also capture memories at the photo booth or take part in the exciting piñata break. Concessions, including chicharrones, chips, and drinks, were available for students to enjoy throughout the event.
Spring Fest at Sci-Tech High School provided a day filled with music, games, and camaraderie, fostering a sense of community and celebration among the student body.
Special thanks goes to Ms. Masini, Ms. Fernandez, and Ms. Cardenas for planning, executing and organizing this day.
