Van Halen Rising explores the band’s legendary days of trying to establish themselves amid a decaying hard rock and metal scene during the mid-seventies. Greg talks about his upbringing as an author, his earliest interest in studying history, and how he stumbled upon Van Halen as an ideal subject for his most recent effort.
