Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) affects many children worldwide, causing difficulties in attention, hyperactivity, and social functioning.

Adults with ADHD may struggle with maintaining focus and attention, leading to difficulty completing tasks or staying organized at work or home. They may also experience impulsivity, making it challenging to control impulses or think before acting, which can affect decision-making and interpersonal relationships. Additionally, hyperactivity symptoms may manifest as restlessness or difficulty sitting still, contributing to feelings of agitation or being constantly “on the go.”

These challenges can lead to difficulties in various aspects of life, including academic or professional performance, relationships, and overall well-being. Adults with ADHD may face obstacles in career advancement, have trouble managing finances, experience frequent job changes, or struggle with maintaining long-term friendships or romantic relationships. Additionally, untreated ADHD can contribute to mental health issues such as anxiety and depression, further exacerbating the challenges they face.
