…A man with titanium balls and a spine to match dares to loudly yet eloquently proclaim, “Enough’s e-fucking-nough!”

That man is Uri Berliner, the (former?) editor at NPR who recently displayed his lion’s heart by publicly calling out the once-great media outlet’s sharp Leftward turn away from stories of interest and insight, right into the tangled, cannibalistic Rat King empire of identity politics and woke hysterics.

I used to be a casual fan of NPR; they interviewed interesting creators, published fascinating stories not often covered by bigger legacy outlets, and democratized access to a higher stratum of arts and culture for a common yet curious audience.

But their rapid descent into the DEI cult pushed me away around the time of the 2016 election, even when my own politics at the time largely aligned with theirs. Even then, their obscene obsession with race, gender, and sexuality was too much for my progressive mind. Stories that didn’t highlight the boogeyman of racism, sexism, ableism, transphobia…
