Courtney Lee finished with 13 points, two assists, a rebound, and a steal as Team World defeats Team Africa 108–97 in this year’s NBA Africa Game held in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Lee started for Team World alongside many other NBA All-stars such as Dirk Nowitzki, DeMarcus Cousins and Kyle Lowry in the annual Africa game. He drained an early three and played the whole first quarter and made back-to-back threes before halftime.

He played most of the third quarter but didn’t score as much but did throw an alley-oop to Rondae Hollis-Jefferson. Lee still finished with 13 points on 5–10 shooting (3-7 from three) and played a pretty solid game on an international stage.

Being able to play in this game is a privilege for many NBA players. While many players focus on their individual workouts and practices to prepare them for next season, the players of this game get to go on safaris, do some other touristy stuff, but most importantly work with Habitat for Humanity and help building some small homes to help local communities.

It’s great to see Courtney be able to play on a stage like this, and should make every Topper fan proud.
