#ProTops: Deane Inks Deal With Buffalo Bills
Former WKU tight end Mik’Quan Deane has signed as a free agent with the Buffalo Bills, marking his second stint with an NFL team this rookie offsesaon.
Deane originally signed with the Seattle Seahawks in the immediate aftermath of the NFL Draft, but was released on May 13.
Buffalo isn’t an unfamiliar landing spot for former Hilltoppers; former WKU defensive back Cam Thomas signed with the Bills in 2015 but spent all of that year on the team’s PUP list and was cut ahead of the 2016 season.
On paper, the Bills don’t have a ton of “names” at tight end on the depth chart, so a strong camp may open up the possibility of a roster spot for him sooner rather than later.
