The playoff push continues for Antwane Grant and his Sasketchewan Roughriders and our NFL ProTops begin the thick of the NFL season. Oh, and a special someone will (hopefully) make his 2017 debut.

Antwane Grant, Saskatchewan Roughriders (vs. Ottawa Redblacks, Fri. at 10 p.m.)

Antwane was not in the lineup last week for the ‘Riders in their narrow victory over the Toronto Argonauts and is listed in this week’s injury report (although I can’t find where the injury is disclosed).

A bummer that Grant wont be apart of this game as the Riders continue their playoff push.

Bobby Rainey, Baltimore Ravens (vs. Chicago Bears, Sun. at 12 p.m.)

Let’s give a warm welcome back to Bobby Rainey to the official ProTops ranks, as this week will mark his first as a member of the Ravens’ 53-man roster.

His first task? A Chicago Bears team that, while offensively is not great, has held their own on the defensive side of the ball. Despite their 1–4 start to the season, the Bears rank 13th in the NFL in rushing defense, allowing 100.2 rushing yards per game.

Hopefully he gets some work, unlike he did with Baltimore in the preseason.

Jack Doyle, Indianapolis Colts (at Tennessee Titans, Mon. at 7:30 p.m.)

Jack Doyle didn’t participate in last week’s game due to injury due to a concussion but is hopeful to play this week against the Titans on Monday night.

If he were even borderline, the Colts having the last game of the week might work out in his favor. When we hear one way or another, we’ll be sure to let you know, as well as update this story.

Taywan Taylor, Tennessee Titans (vs. Indianapolis Colts, Mon. at 7:30 p.m.)

Taywan Taylor got some more work out of the backfield (one carry for five yards) and was targeted just once last week in the Titans’ loss to the Dolphins.

I’m not the biggest Titans fan, but I’m shocked that Taylor seems to be getting less work with the injury to Cory Davis. DeMarco Murray got more targets than Taylor did, for crying out loud.

Anyway, hopefully this is the week he can do something, anything, in the receiving game.

Tyler Higbee, Los Angeles Rams (at Jacksonville Jaguars, Sun. at 3:05 p.m.)

Higbee had himself a damn day in the Rams’ loss against Seattle — he led all Rams pass catchers with 98 yards on four receptions (he also had eight targets) but was unable to find the end zone (the lone Rams’ score came from a Tavon Austin rushing TD).

It seems like Higbee has become one of the Rams’ most reliable receivers out of nowhere, and it’s awesome to think where he’ll be in a few weeks if this keeps up.

What game will you have your eye on this weekend? Who would you like to see have an explosive game? Let us know in a comment below, via Twitter at @TheTowelRackWKU or on our Facebook page.
