Sophomore Luke Brown has left the WKU baseball program, as of last week. There’s not much information on his departure at this time, but we do know he has transferred to John A. Logan Junior College for the spring semester and is eligible to play this year.

Brown is a huge loss for the Tops. He led WKU in hitting during conference play last season. With Brown’s departure, it leaves Ray Zuberer III as the only returning everyday player to hit over .220 last season.

With 15 transfers added to the roster this season, there’s many unknowns — more so than usual — for the upcoming season.

C-USA preseason poll has WKU finishing 10th and missing the conference tournament again. So this season looks like a repeat of the last 3 seasons under Coach Pawlowski.
