2018 Ellenwood, Georgia recruit Roderic Forts is the newest player to join #ThePursuit18 for WKU football making the defensive depth for the Hilltoppers even stronger.

Forts is a 6'3", 220 defensive end and is listed as a three-star recruit according to Rivals.com. He had many offers from mid-major schools in Georgia and Florida, also including one from USF, but Forts will now be another great addition to WKU’s defense for next season. WKU’s defense has shined so far this season and with the recruiting class that Sanford & Co. has put together, look for the defense to be young but also very talented.

WKU still currently has the #1 ranked recruiting class in the C-USA for 2018 according to 24/7 Sports with 21 players committed overall so far, most of them being three-star recruits. Forts is also the ninth recruit from Georgia to commit to WKU in his class making the Peach State the state that has the most future Hilltoppers in the 2018 class. Some of Forts’ highlights can be seen here:

The future of WKU football is looking bright with #ThePursuit18 and could possibly be WKU’s best recruiting class in WKU’s FBS history. What do you think about the recruiting class so far?
