Late Monday night, the Tops landed a defensive back from Sunrise, Florida, marking Coach Sanford’s fifth commit coming out of the Sunshine State for the 2018 class.

Bryand Rincher is a 5'9", 160 pound defensive back from Piper High School that will add speed and athleticism for the Tops in the years to come. Rincher will be in the competition for defensive back to replace Joe Brown and Da’Andre Simmons after this season.

Rincher’s Hudl displays his pure athleticism; picking off passes, blocking punts, and breaking up plays. The biggest thing I took from watching his Hudl is his ability to lay recievers out. Something that is very impressive for a man who weighs 160 pounds.

According to 247Sports, Rincher is a three-star prospect, ranked 595th in the 2018 class, and 53rd at defensive back.

Rincher had seven offers before announcing his commitment to Western Kentucky: Bowling Green, Florida Atlantic, Idaho, Marshall, Temple, and South Florida.

What do you think of Rincher’s commitment? Will he help bring in more recruits for the 2018 class? Who’s next to say they’re coming to the Hill? Let us know in a comment below, via Twitter at @TheTowelRackWKU or on our Facebook page.
