WKU Recruiting: Three-Star Offensive Lineman Decommits From Tops
Just over three weeks removed from the early national signing period, a key figure in the WKU recruiting class has announced his intent to decommit from the Tops.
Stovall announced his commitment to the Tops back in April, but had acquired a number of end-of-season accolades for his performance this past year at Notre Dame Academy in Chattanooga, as well as garnered an from Northwestern, who probably gave the Tops their biggest competition for his services.
It’s a bummer to see Stovall decommit — he was one of the players I was most looking forward to in a Chrome Dome — but it shouldn’t bring WKU’s overall 2018 recruiting class down in a big way, if at all.
With Stovall no longer having the Tops on his radar, WKU’s 2018 class has 14 signees and eight players who the Tops are hoping to land in the February signing period.
