On Friday, while all of the Topper world was wondering what was happening with Mitchell Robinson, Tops landed a pair of touted defensive tackles out of Georgia.

Lichon Terrell is a 6'2", 260 pound lineman from Hogansville, Georgia and attends Callaway High School. Deporess is a 6'2 275 pound lineman from Alpharetta, Georgia and attends Alpharetta High School. They make the second and third defensive tackles in the 2018 class and will provide size and strength for our Tops in the next couple years. Following in the footsteps of Julien Lewis, who is a senior this year, and Evan Sayner, who has two years left they will get the leadership they need to provide a dominant defensive line for the future.

From watching Terrell’s Hudl you see his natural ability to shed blocks to get to the running back at the line. Terrell is very athletic for a 260 DT, he runs a 4.9 40-yard dash and has a 33 inch standing vertical.

From watching Schletty’s highlights, you see the athleticism he has. Schletty runs a 4.88 40-yard dash and has a 30 inch standing vertical jump. Considering Schletty weighs 275 pounds, that goes to show the athleticism in the future Hilltopper.

In a video with Rivals, Terrell breaks down his commitment to WKU.

Terrell is Western’s highest touted commit so far in the 2018 class. According to 247Sports, Terrell is a three-star recruit and is ranked the 86th best defensive tackle in the 2018 class.

Terrell’s most notable offers of his 25 offers include: Middle Tennessee State, Vanderbilt, North Carolina, Georgia Tech, Colorado, Mississippi State, and Stanford.

According to 247Sports, Schletty is a three-star and is ranked the 133rd best defensive tackle in the nation.

Schletty’s most notable offers of his 20 offers include: Middle Tennessee State, Pittsburgh, Appalachian State, Colorado State, and Southern Florida.

Terrell and Schletty are huge gets for the Hilltopper 2018 recruting class. Will they help bring in more recruits for his class? Who’s next to say they’re coming to the Hill? Let us know in a comment below, via Twitter at @TheTowelRackWKU or on our Facebook page.
