We don’t have to just imagine new futures for learners. There are people, ideas, and organizations living into a radically different future of learning right now. They are doing work that radically departs from the status quo models of education, that centers equity and ancestral ways of knowing, that re-thinks what, why, and where young people are learning. This article lays out our working definitions of innovation and reinvention, and grounds these terms in the real-life work happening across an ecosystem of learning innovators.
