Netflix Has a New Series on the Fastest Growing Sport in America You Had No Idea About
Plus, the scoop on James Harden’s super nerdy sneakers
Welcome to this week’s installment of The Relish Must List: featuring all the cool things to have, do, and devour — with relish, of course.
MUST HAVE: Remember when Usain Bolt was the fastest man in the world? Miss A-Rod already? Prinstantreplays turns memorable sports moments into really cool, minimalist prints — sports memorabilia, for grownups!
MUST GO: Serena Williams and Novak Djokovic will enter this year’s U.S. Open — kicking off next week, August 29th, in Flushing, N.Y. — as the top-seeded singles. We’ll be there, and are getting in the spirit by going to a ping pong matchup with John Isner and the Bryan Brothers in New York City (thanks, WIRED magazine!).
MUST WATCH: “Fearless,” a new series on Netflix (streaming for the weekend, yessss!) follows the lives of Brazil’s best bull riders. Apparently, bull riding is the fastest growing sport in America (!) so perhaps it’s time we all learn a thing or two about this super intense sport.
MUST VISIT: Clemson’s new football facility — coming in at 140K square feet for the quaint sum of $55M — has insane amenities, from a bowling alley and laser tag to ping pong, an indoor golf simulator, HD movie theater, a nap room, and more. Remind us: when are tryouts?
MUST *NOT* WEAR: Remember how much Twitter didn’t like Steph Curry’s sneakers for Under Armour earlier this summer? Well the haterade is back — and this time it’s STRONG — for James Harden’s supposed new workout sneaker (photos were leaked). What’s your take? Tweet us @TheRelishSports!
Sports aren’t over after Rio. We’ll keep serving them up in your inbox, on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Follow along!
