Malcolm X’s quote about black women has become more relevant now than it ever has been.

“The most disrespected person in America is the black woman. The most unprotected person in America is the black woman. The most neglected person in America is the black woman.”

Everyday we see a new story about one of them suffering in one way or another - and it is not only frustrating, but just straight up sad. One of the most recent victims of this ongoing disrespect is Megan Thee Stallion, who has skyrocketed to success in the past year. Her situation with Tory Lanez has led people to take on the situation with a method the internet uses to comment on nearly everything, ever — humor. But beyond that, people have even said that Megan deserved to be shot — because she calls herself a savage.

This is the most asinine and infuriating take to have on the entire ordeal.
