Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show: A Recap
As you know we talked about the Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show before it happened. Now, that the biggest event of the year so far has happened we can talk about how it went down and I can tell you what I thought of it.
The Setlist
To my knowledge this actually didn’t leak early. However, ones we expected were performed and Mary J. Blige thankfully did more than one song.
“The Next Episode”, “California Love” — Dr.Dre, Snoop Dogg
“In Da Club” — 50 Cent
“Family Affair”, “No More Drama” — Mary J. Blige
“m.A.A.d City ”, “Alright” — Kendrick Lamar
“Forget About Dre” Dr.Dre feat. Eminem “Lose Yourself” — Eminem
“Still D.R.E” Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg
The Performers
As we know the stars of the show were Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem and Kendrick Lamar. We assumed there could have been possible special guests and these included 50 Cent and Anderson .Paak. .Paak is a very close associate of Dre and is another person he essentially introduced to the music world on a larger scale. He played the drums during Eminem’s “Lose Yourself”.
