[TL;DR — There’s more Carti “news”, a Disney movie with a black lead is right around the corner and a new Pharrell interview has appeared.

NEWS

Well we finally have some real news for Playboi Carti’s Whole Lotta Red. Features for it (more than likely) include Kid Cudi, Travis Scott, Future, Pharrell and Kanye. We also have a new alleged date for the album’s release — Christmas Day. As I’ve been saying all year in regards to this situation — we’ll see. Something that did drop however was a “B-Side”/deluxe version of Eminem’s Music To Be Murdered By. Most surprisingly however was that a music video for a song on it called “GNAT” was directed by Cole Bennett of Lyrical Lemonade. This is a surprise because we’ve come to know his brand to focus on more underground/independent rappers of various styles — not Billboard headliners.

Soul, the latest Disney + Pixar movie with a black lead comes out this Friday on Disney Plus! Jamie Foxx plays the lead in this one and if you’ve seen any of the screengrabs or trailers that show how we’re drawn/animated in this one it looks like it’ll be a huge W. There’s also a new (long) interview out with Pharrell on Drink Champs and as always it’s worth hearing it all.

RECOMMENDED SONGS …for some reason, all the reasons, no reasons
