Any language brings with it a set of intriguing terms, both raw and beautiful. Ever heard of words like Zyzzyva or Hyppytyynytyydytys? The world of words is much more bizarre and interesting. Some are just so deep and specific that you can’t find an English equivalent. Lang Chat is all about celebrating such words. We built this as a test application for an exciting line up of stuff we have got.

This is a simple and fun app you can access via Google Assistant. Just utter the phrase, ‘Hey Google, Talk to Lang Chat’ and you are good to get started.

We have some fascinating words from a wide variety of languages. If you are someone who takes pleasure in knowing new terms like our team, you will surely love it. Or, are you a multilingual Also, some special easter eggs inside. See if you will get lucky to come across one!

So, here’s how it will work:

  • Lang Chat will give you a random word from the database and ask you to guess which language it belongs to. You will get five words per set.
  • You will have 2 chances to guess.
  • You can also ask for a hint if you have no idea. Lang chat will give some easy clues for you to make the right guess.
  • If you can’t get the correct answer, it will give away the answer.
  • If you get the answer right, Lang Chat will tell a special trivia associated with the word.

As simple as it is. We will be updating the app from time to time to include additional words, phrases, and question formats. Version 1.2 is live now for access.

Don’t forget to talk to Lang Chat the next time you are stuck up in a traffic jam or bored traveling long distances to freshen up the mood a bit. And if you are a poet, Lang Chat is all yours to draw inspiration from, in crafting your next masterpiece!
