On her second day in Tallinn, she again sprung out of bed, determined not to miss her breakfast buffet which the concierge told her would end at 11am.

This time it appeared that the breakfast buffet actually would end at the scheduled time, instead of earlier. She relaxed at the table and began to take her time through the first meal of the day. Leisurely, she began reading.

When she was ready for some food, she went to buffet table. Upon her return, a gentleman was sitting at her table, eating.

“Excuse me,” Ger Ger said as she removed her belongings from the table.

“Oh I’m very sorry. I didn’t realize …” The gentleman began to say, but Ger Ger did not wait for him to finish chewing nor swallowing nor talking, and immediately seated herself at the next table.

After breakfast, she ventured out with a red umbrella that she borrowed from the hotel concierge.

She visited the Russian church, as its onion-shaped domes made for a good photography subject.

Then she walked around, and found a spot that offered a panoramic view of the old town.

After taking the panoramic shot, she stumbled upon a street performance. But this was no ordinary street performance. It was a philharmonic performance, at the House of Blackheads.

There were many professional photographers and videographers on site. In fact, one of the photographers was taking pictures of Ger Ger. In return, Ger Ger took a picture of him, as she was not used to being photographed by any one other than her own royal crew.

After the event, Ger Ger went shopping. But soon tired of shopping, she went to a cat cafe.

As soon as she entered the cafe, a cat greeted her, played with her, sat with her, and read the menu with her.

The waiter commented that the cats typically would not sit on the lap of the customers. One of the rules of the cafe said the same thing too.

There were not as many cats as the cafe in Vilnius, but there were enough for Ger Ger to play with.

After greeting all the cats, Ger Ger went back to her table.

The pumpkin soup was excellent! After the soup, she did some reading.

While reading, a cat came over and said, “Come join me at my playground.”

So Ger Ger followed the feline host to a corner of the cafe full of cat toys. At the perimeter of the playground, a few human guests sat and watched the cats play. Ger Ger joined the group of humans.

One of the humans held a stick with some cardboard pieces dangling on the other end of the stick. The cats tried to snatch the dangling pieces.

Then the stick was passed on to another person who tried to entice the cats. After a while, the stick was passed on to Ger Ger. With the stick, she tickled a lazy white and orange cat. The cat whacked the dangling cardboards, but missed. Feeling somewhat defeated, the cat left the playground to sit in front of a bunch of postcards.
