Description

The EVO SP 3-Axis Handheld Gimbal is compatible with all iPhone, Windows and Android cellphones. This gimbal is very light and easy to use. No plug- in is required. All you have to do is fit the phone into the clasp and it will not fall out. The gimbal also comes with an extra weight if you need the extra balance for a really heavy phone. It only requires two rechargeable batteries that are included.

Technicalities

While the gimbal was easy to use and overall the quality was smooth, occasionally the three-axis motor would go limp and in return the arm would abruptly rotate, which messed up the whole video. We also noticed that the thumbstick would pan up and down a lot easier and smoother than left to right. The video that we were able to capture with the gimbal was very smooth and very clear. It would be a great product to use to make a simple intro to a video or for simple recording.

Worth Buying?

This gimbal is 199 US dollars on the EVO website. We think that for how many issues that this product has, that it is not worth that much. While it is a useful product it should be a more reasonable price for all of the flaws that we encountered while filming. We personally would not buy this product.
