The Ribbon is the official long-form web publication of Literati Bookstore, and Literati Bookstore is an independent brick & mortar bookseller, established in 2013, by Hilary and Mike Gustafson. We have three floors of books, a passionate staff of booksellers, a dedicated events space, and partner with the finest coffeemakers in town, Literati Coffee.
You can order books from us online. See a calendar of our upcoming reading and events. Read a little bit about our history. Don’t live in Michigan? Sign up for Cultura, our one-of-a-kind first edition collector’s club. And, yes, we also have a twitter, a tumblr, are on Facebook, and use Instagram. (and snapchat, but you need your mobile device for that one). We love physical books, that’s our whole thing — but we also like new media.
