You ever wonder what a deer is thinking while watching you mow your lawn? Bjork did. She pondered these questions and others extensively when she released “Human Behaviour,” the first single off her 1993 album “Debut.” This would be the only time she would crack the Billboard Top 20 in the US, despite becoming somewhat of an icon in the music and art world.

You rarely run into an artist who when you think of them, the first thought is of a country. Music + Iceland = Bjork. I know Sigur Ross hails from this Scandinavian country as well. But not a ton of people know them. And most people wouldn’t know Bjork if she didn’t happen to always stand out in a crowd, no matter where she’s standing.

Bjork is probably known as much for her public persona as her music. A lot of that attention is due to the fact that when Bjork shows up to an awards show or gala, you can be sure she’ll be wearing something unique or even downright strange.
