If you haven’t already read the original article announcing this month’s pick, we are trying a new format to mix things up.

This month, the “Album” is a collection of songs by disparate artists and places. It does have a theme, but other than that, the songs are not related.

As such, it does not actually exist as an album on streaming services or, well, anywhere. At the suggestion of one of our regular participants, Steve Goldberg, I have created a virtual album in the form of a YouTube playlist, which you can find here:

This should help if you don’t want to toggle back and forth to the article.

Joining instructions

If you are not a regular at the Album of the Month discussions, welcome! As Kevin Alexander would say, it’s a safe place; you can participate as much/as little as you’d like.

I do hope to see the rest of our regulars and semi-regulars: Jessica Lee McMillan; Madeline M. Dovi; Jeffrey Harvey; Buddy Gott; Stanley C.; Nicole Brown; Anthony Overs; Charlie Cole; Keith R. Higgons; Scott Fountain; Nichola Scurry.

Also extending a personal invite to a few other folks who have shown interest in my meanderings: Alexander Razin; Dan Reich; Miss Catherine La Grange, spinster; David Acaster; Grace Ombry. Thank you all!
